You can CHOOSE to be happy, to be positive, to embrace all people and give all of your love and compassion…

You can CHOOSE to be a good listener, a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand, to be understanding and welcoming of anyone even if they’re completely different from you…

You can CHOOSE to find a way to relate to a stranger, to make someone feel comfortable in a new situation, to think very carefully before you speak and speak only with kind words…

You can CHOOSE to love instead of hate, to offer acceptance instead of judgement, to praise instead of criticize…

…or to be a friend instead of an enemy.

So when you start to feel like you are losing control, that you do not have a choice, that someone or something else is to blame for what you’re going through, reclaim yourself and remember all that you DO have control of, and all the choices YOU can make.
